Gaming Follow Friday #6 - Minecraft

Is it Gaming Follow Friday time again? Why yes, of course it is. It's Friday. Anyway, time to take a break from all those big name games like The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Skyrim, Modern Warfare 3 and Battlefield 3 and look at the best twitter accounts surrounding something a little more independent.

Minecraft (winner of the amazing GameCity's first annual GameCity Prize) may have 'existed' for a fair while now but it was only officially released the week before last. Who'd-a-thunk-it? Anyway that's just a good excuse to celebrate the game as any. Considering its popularity is ever growing, and with an Xbox Live Arcade release still in the works up at Scotland based 4J Studios that doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon, it's never too late to find out what it's all about.

The truth about Minecraft is that while the solitary experience of survival is fun, it's a game at its best when you get yourself involved in the community, sharing stories and creations.
