Gaming Follow Friday - Soul Calibur V

Fridays mean the end of the week, the start of the weekend, and a good time to add a little spice and fun into your existence that you didn't think about including before today. It's hard to explain, but this sure feels like a long time coming. Well actually, it's not so hard to explain, I've been waiting for a successor to Soul Calibur II's crown for almost nine years. Nine years! It's not like Soul Calibur has been bad since then but entries three and four took the series into heavy, turgid territory. One might even describe it as 'lumpestuous', if one was a slighty camp, Australian dance judge. Not that I watch Strictly Come Dancing and would remember that said insult was shot at Dan Lobb for his rather plodding Salsa in week two of the 2011 series by the discerning dance critic Craig Revel Horwood. No sir, of course I don't. I'm a gruff and incredibly manly videogame journistic type. Grr. Look at my tache (I don't have a tache).

Yes! Soul Calibur! It's been a long time coming and it's actually almost here - can you taste it?
