Need for Speed The Run trailer smells like Michael Bay

Speeding! Crashing! Fisticuffs! Gratutitous shots of sunsets! If Michael Bay was put in charge of a Need for Speed game, I think this would be it judging from the latest trailer for Need for Speed: The Run.
In the space of a minute, we see exotic cars tear down city streets with reckless abandon while lead protagonist exchanges fisticuffs with the police, before a plethora of destructive quick fire shots of cars falling off cliffs and written off by trucks and buses.
Exciting stuff, and there's no denying that The Run's action setpieces are well executed if my hands-on is anything to go by. It's all a bit too "Hollywood" though, so we just hope that, unlike most Michael Bay films, there's some actual substance to the driving.
Not long until we can find out now when Need for Speed: The Run races onto consoles November 18th.
