Naughty Dog unveil new cinematic trailer for The Last of Us

We first heard about The Last of Us when it was revealed at the Spike Videogame Awards last year and were immediately excited about it - we even listed it as one of the hottest new IPs for 2012. Naughty Dog, zombies, human drama, survival horror… Hell, throw in a big bottle of Tequila and it’s a party, right?

Well as information has been drip-fed slowly and we’ve done our own digging to find some facts about The Last of Us (in particular the real-world virus behind the game’s fictional apocalypse), it’s become more and more apparent that while this is certainly a game about surviving against the infected hordes, it’s more about surviving against an altogether deadlier predator: other human beings.

This new trailer for The Last of Us shows just how dangerous Joel and Ellie’s world is, and how infected mutants are only one of their problems.
