Castlevania demo for PlayStation Plus owners

PlayStation Plus subscribers are to get early access to a Castlevania: Lords of Shadow demo this week. Konami confirmed the news, saying PlayStation 3 owners within Europe will be able to get the first look at the highly anticipated game. Lords of Shadow is a third person action adventure title featuring 50 levels with combat, platforming and puzzle elements. The story sees the player take control of main character Gabriel Belmont (voice by Robert Carlyle), who is  member of the "Brotherhood of Light", an elite group of holy knights who protect and defend innocent people against the supernatural creatures. Unfortunately his wife Marie Natascha McElhone is murdered by one of them, and her soul becomes trapped, leaving Gabriel to try and free her from the spell. Castlevania: Lords of Shadow is due to release for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in North America on October 5, and across Europe from October 7. Thanks, Gamerzines.
