EA's announced the development of Need for Speed: Shift 2, which is under development by Slightly Mad Studios.
Shift 2 Unleashed will featurean all-new rendering engine with a massive graphics overhaul, an innovative helmet camera view and it will also incorporate the next generation of Need for Speed Autolog, building on the network included in Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, that connects friends for head-to-head races and compares player stats.
Need for Speed Shift 2: Unleashed is due for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC in spring 2011.
