Tony Hawk: Shred sells just 3000 copies in launch week

Tony Hawk's Ride wasn't the greatest game in the World, and it seems the next instalment, Shred hasn't faired much better than its predecessor. According to Cowan and Company, as reported by GI, Tony Hawk: Shred flopped at retail, selling a measly 3000 copies in its first week on sale in the US. In general software sales for the month where up though, with Xbox 360 software sales up 44% to $81 million, and PS3 software sales were up $27 million (17%). Shame about the Hawx though, seems it may be time to retire Tony. Thanks, Industry Gamers/Games Industry.
