Xbox Live free weekend is here
Just a reminder in case you are a Xbox Live silver member and didn't know; this weekend is a Free LIVE Weekend.
What this basically means is Xbox LIVE Gold will be temporarily free for everyone, however there will also be tonnes of competitions, a load of exclusive music videos and pretty sweet discounts, here's the details…
- Competitions with prizes including a Halo Reach Limited Collector’s Edition and the new HTC HD7 Windows Phone 7, with Xbox LIVE functionality! Find out how to enter by visiting the competition channel on the Xbox LIVE dash.
- Music Videos from ZUNE including Rihanna, Far East Movement, Eminem, Black Eyed Peas and Lady Gaga – and an Xbox exclusive: N.E.R.D’s new video Hot ’n’ Fun, featuring Nelly Furtado.
- Xbox LIVE Free members will have the chance to go online with Kinect Sports and Kinect Joy Ride, plus try out video chat with their friends and family using Video Kinect.
- Online multiplayer on all the top Xbox LIVE games will be available to everyone; if you’re an Xbox LIVE Free member, you get to try out the multiplayer modes of all your favourite games – for free!
- Xbox LIVE marketplace discounts on everything from Xbox Originals and Xbox LIVE Arcade games to films, PDLC and Avatar items!
