Del Toro wants to "take players to a place they've never seen before" with InSANE trilogy

THQ details 'InSANE' trilogy, the upcoming Del Toro's videogame project, also a potencial movie. 'InSANE', announced at the VGA's (click if you missed the teaser trailer), is the upcoming trilogy Guillermo del Toro is currently working on with THQ. The first game is in development at 'Saint's Row' studio Volition and will be released in 2013. The director Del Toro will serve as a external creative director, working closely with the THQ and Volition team, and he also owns the franchise rights in case any movie project based on the IP comes along. THQ has said that Del Toro is "not only an incredibly gifted writer and film director, but also an avid gamer" and that "his unique point of view will create visually stunning adventures, filled with rich and rewarding game play" for the new franchise. This is what Del Toro said about the horror/thriller trilogy:

"With this new series of videogames, I want to take players to a place they have never seen before, where every single action makes them question their own senses of morality and reality."
