Silent Hill: Downpour detailed in Game Informer

Lots of Innovations to the series all of which will be savoured but the one constant ? Silent Hill is as scary as ever. Silent Hill: Downpour seems to be taking on a completely different shape to the previous game in the series, "Homecoming," with the player controlled camera eliminated . In-depth coverage in February’s issue of Game Informer, quotes Design Director Brian Gomez, saying, “Silent Hill the town is the star of the show…So we see Silent Hill as the only consistent character across the whole series. It's really about who you plug into it." That character is Murphy Pendelton. Obviously the rain and mist two seemingly essential conventions to a Silent Hill game, what is new though is that this trip will contain sidequests. Rejoice ! Seems like a more characteristic , interactive and  meatier Silent Hill town is on the cards.
