Treyarch: Black Ops best Call of Duty yet

Call of Duty: Black Ops developer Treyarch believes its newest FPS can be the best of the bunch. Speaking to industry site MCV, Josh Olin said the new game raises the bar for the franchise. “Modern Warfare 2 is an extremely successful entertainment launch, record selling, which is absolutely phenomenal,” “Every Call of Duty game has ratcheted the bar up for the next one, and we’re just ratcheting up the bar one step further. I think Black Ops is going to exceed expectations. This game is going to be huge.” Treyarch has always been seen as the so called “back up/inferior developer”  to Call of Duty creator Infinity Ward, amongst fans of the franchise, however Olin seems confident in their game. “We’re going to let Black Ops speak for itself, “We’re always trying to make the best game we can possibly make, and with Black Ops it really is the best work we’ve ever done.” There is always a lot of hype and competition around the November release of Call of Duty games, however the name itself will stand this game in good stead, now it’s just up to the developers to prove they have a classic title that will blow the rest away.
