New Tomb Raider movie will reboot the franchise

The all new Lara Croft is gearing up to make her debut appearance in the upcoming Tomb Raider, which promises to take the games in an all new direction.  It's not just gaming that will be seeing the new Lara though as Crystal Dynamics and GK Films have announced that a new film is in the works. Graham King and Tim Headington are producing the film and have promised fans a "young and dynamic" Lara Croft. Presumably this Lara will be similar to the one we see in the new game. The film will reboot the movie franchise and will be the first film in a new series; so we can expect to see franchise milking sequels if the first does well at the Box Office (or bargain bins if they follow in the footsteps of Far Cry ) and considering this is a fresh start, we can expect to see a new star filling Angelina Jolie's shoes.
