Twisted Metal announced for PS3

A bashed up ice cream van just drove onto the stage at Sony's conference to announce that Twisted Metal, the longest running franchise on Playstation will be making a return on the PS3. The game will include the same over the top action we saw in the original games, but naturally, it will come with a lot more than previous games, including one of the biggest additions, helicopters. The game will have multiple modes including Deathmatch, and 'Nuke', a new mode in which each team has, what can only be described as a huge clown statue thing, the objective is to destroy the opposite team's statue, using missiles. This game is looking awesome, we'll try and get the footage for you later.
