Kinect's voice recognition limited at launch

Kinect's voice recognition is to be limited to three languages at launch. Reports earlier this month suggested this would be the case, however Microsoft had until now denied this. This morning Microsoft has confirmed that unless you speak English, Japanese or Spanish Mexican, Kinect sensor won't understand you. According to MCV, others will have to wait until Kinect is patched to recognise their language in Spring next year. Finally Kinect will reportedly 'lockout' regions that have not yet been granted official support, so whether you live in these regions and can speak English seems to be irrelevant.
