EA MMA demo dated

EA has announced a demo for its new MMA title, which will be released on September 28. The new demo will include the ability to unlock a "classic" Randy Couture as a playable character in the full game, just by sending a note to someone in your friends list to try the game. Fighters in the demo include heavyweights Alistair Overeem and Bobby Lashley, middleweights include Jason "Mayhem" Miller and Jake Shields. Real-life referee Big John McCarthy makes an appearance and Jimmy Lennon, Jr. handles the fighter introductions. Modes included in the demo are a "Fight Now" and also an interactive tutorial featuring Shields vs. Miller at the Horizon Center in Japan. Thanks, Kotaku.
